Napoleon Duraisamy

Kumaresan Duraisamy better known by his stage name Napoleon, is a Tamil film actor, politician and the founder and chairman of the Jeevan Technologies. Born as the fifth among the six children in his family Napoleon had graduated from St. Joseph's College, Trichy during which he had enthusiastically affiliated himself with the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam of Tamil Nadu. After contesting the State Assembly elections of 2001, Napoleon became a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. In the year 2014 he had exited the party and joined the BJP in the presence of party President Amit Shah where he was made the party's state Vice-President in the year 2015. He made his debut in Tamil cinema with Pudhu Nellu Pudhu Naathu in the year 1991, popular for his choices of acting in rural genre's, Napoleon has acted in nearly 100 movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam language and Kannada films. His roles as Mundakkal Shekharan in the blockbuster action film Devasuram is widely regarded as his best performance to-date. He had founded the Jeevan IT Academy which was started with the aim of training graduates to enter the corporate world with a thorough knowledge of industry standards. Napoleon had also won the Best Actor award by the Government of Tamil Nadu for his film Ettupatti Rasa.
