Kamalakannan, an organic farmer, is a dutiful son, who will not do anything against his father or grandmother’s wishes. He is a do-gooder, who often takes loans for the sake of the poor in his village. This gets him into trouble with Bharathi, the new manager of the local cooperative bank.
