Writer and director Bill Condon, is known for directing and writing the critically acclaimed films 'Gods and Monsters', 'Chicago', 'Kinsey', 'Dreamgirls'. He had won the Academy Award for his screenwriting debut in the movie 'Gods and Monsters'. Raised in an Irish Catholic family, Bill had graduated in philosophy from Columbia College of Columbia University. He began his career as a screenwriter and eventually began directing Television movies. He has directed the Disney live-action movie 'Beauty and the Beast' which is being released in 2017. Condon is a member of the Independent Feature Projects (IFP) in Los Angeles, a non-profit organization which supports independent films. Bill is in a long-term relationship with Jack Morrissey.
