The Secret Life of Frogs’ is the first-ever film on Amphibians of India. The film, shot extensively in the fragile Western Ghats which is home to thousands of rare flora and fauna, showcases unique species of frogs like the purple frogs which are critically endangered and require immediate protection. It’s a species that every amphibian expert is aware of and is believed to have co-existed with dinosaurs. If any effort at all is to be put into conservation it has to go towards the Purple frog, which can be the ideal ambassador for the ecosystem that makes up the Western Ghats.
