The New Romantic (2018)

Blake Conway is an an aspiring journalist who is frustrated by the lack of romance in her life and terrified of her impending graduation from journalism school. In order to escape her looming post-graduation fate, which includes student debt and zero romantic prospects, she becomes a sugar baby to a wealthy older man in the hope that writing about her experience will win her the $50,000 prize in an upcoming journalism competition. As she documents her adventure, she sets out on a quest to figure out if society is right to judge these women and if her own self-worth comes with a price.
