The story begins in 1969 when Kondareddy of the upper caste beats Mallanna of the lower caste to death for allegedly touching a cup of water.
Over the years, the lower castes have been humiliated by the upper castes.
In 1988, consciousness began to emerge among the grassroots. It is caused by many traumatic events. Especially the late Mallanna's daughter Sita is the main reason for this. The Saidulu of the lower caste who woke up to her death fought with the people of his village against the upper caste dictators and made all the lower castes who had been living in disgrace till then live with dignity in the village. That concludes the story.
