Revathikkoru Pavakkutty (1986)

This evocative family drama delves into the life of Revathi, a strong-willed and vivacious young woman who was brought up by her single mother. After her parents were separated when she was very young, her mother instilled in her the unshakeable belief that her father was a terrible man, who left her alone to suffer. Years later, while on his deathbed, her father makes a last wish to see his daughter. Revathi refuses to go, so her orphan friend Susanna (Radha) goes in her place to fulfill his wish. Revathi's father is very happy to be with Susanna, thinking she is Revathy but Susanna dies. Finally, Revathy returns home after the death of Susanna, but what reaction will her visit elicit from her grief-stricken father?
