Where did you watch this movie?

Embedded with sharp satire and deep insight, this socially relevant drama delves into the complex sequence of events that unfold when a group of frusturated youngsters decide to kidnap the famous Malayalam actor Prem Nazir from one of the film shooting sets. The captured Prem Nazir is then imprisoned in a dilapidated home in a dense forest. The kidnappers treat Prem Nazir with due respect and treat him in the best possible manner, given the place where they are put up. It is revealed that the kidnappers are not hard-core criminals with violent or malicious intent, and neither do they seek a heavy ransom for the safety of their victim. They've just been pushed into the reckless act by circumstance. One kidnapper (Sreenivasan) comes from an upper-caste Hindu family, and his father worked as the local temple oracle. Though highly educated he does not find a good job. Another gang member (Vijay Menon) had a very troubled childhood during which his parents were murdered and he had to live as a domestic helper of the murderer. The kidnap of Prem Nazir is to express their frusturation against the exploitation and injustice they have had to face in society. The crux of this tale boldly and insightfully depicts how various sections of society – the film fraternity, the producers, the general public, the law-enforcement agencies react to the sensational news of Prem Nazir's kidnapping. Will the youngsters succeed in ensuring that their point of view is heard and understood by people or will they be dealt another blow by society?
