Vellaiyan, Kuppusamy and Chokkalingam live in a village called Kondampatti, Pudur in Dharmapuri district. There
are very poor and earn their living by working in a stone quarry and each have a son namely Vediyappan, Mayilsamy
and Thavanakodi. These 3 boys are very mischievous and this embarrasses their parents in front of the entire village.
