Radha, an 11-year-old girl from a rural village in India, starts her first day working at a firecracker factory. In this new and overwhelming environment, she accidentally loses her cherished school bag—an object she would fiercely defend. The story traces her determined quest to find her backpack, which stands for more than just her belongings; it embodies her hopes, dreams, and the education that has been stripped away from her.
