Netaji Gopalakrishnan or Netaji, 94, a Subhash Chandra Bose follower, lives a peaceful life with the Irula tribe in Karala. When Netaji's son and daughter-in-law leave their son Virat with him for a fortnight, the city-bread boy is unable to tolerate the life in forest. Virat understands the meaning of struggle, fear, hope and self maintenance one day as he gets lost in the forest. His only motivation in surviving the fear while the forest was his grandfather's encouraging words. Finally, the film throws light into the mysterious final days of Subhash Chandra Bose, India's most famous freedom fighter.
