A talented and ambitious young man is on his way to becoming a respected songwriter and musician when his long time girlfriend, who admires him for his creativity and originality, unexpectedly falls pregnant. To pay the bills and give his girlfriend and the baby a better life, he accepts an offer to performing cheap commercial music. Will their love survive the artistic compromise he makes for the greater good?
