A complex, multi-layered drama about a reluctant pornographic writer who aspires to be a litterateur, is inspired by the anonymous author of popular pulp fiction and sex stories in Hindi, only known as Mastram. His erotic books were extremely popular, and sold at railway station stalls, small roadside and pavement shops all over North India, through the 1980s and 90s.
This evocative, fictional biography follows the trials and triumphs in his life.
