In a world that has become increasingly mechanized and homogenized, the unique and the individual deserve a special place. While 20 million artisans are part of the crafts industry, it is the hands of each individual crafts-person that create the object of utility or beauty. Through the contemporary exploration of professional entrepreneurship, technological advances and intervention from designers, the film explores the experiences of traditional crafts-persons from across the country and their connection to the land which gives them their identity.
