Daniel Wu Yin-cho is a Chinese American, Hong Kong actor, director and producer based in Hong Kong. He made his acting debut in 1998 in “Young and Dangerous: The Prequel” as supporting cast. He starred in a few more movies before making his breakthrough as the leading actor for “Purple Storm” in 1999. Wu's first experience in film production came with his starring role in Julian Lee's 2003 film, Night Corridor. He is known for his work in the films, The Man with the Iron Fists (2012), Europa Report (2013), One Nite in Mongkok (2004) and Protege (2007). He made his directorial debut in “The Heavenly Kings” which was released in April 2006. He received Hong Kong film award for a title Best New Director in 2016. Apart from movies Wu also got a boy band named 'Alive'.
