In the tiny town of Babylon, Florida, fourteen-year-old Margaret Larkin goes missing who then found murdered and thrown in the river. While the murderer Nathan Redfield tries to pin his crime on the unliked principle in the town, he has been haunted by the ghost of his victim along with other ghosts who have died in the river.
