Chote Nawab (2024)

13-year-old Junaid goes to his family's old mansion in Lucknow, India, for a big family reunion. He's from the UK and it's his first time in India, with his strict parents. His trip turns into quite an adventure. He tries smoking, falls in love, and gets his heart broken—all normal parts of growing up. But what really gets to him is seeing how his family thinks men are more important than women. When this affects him directly, Junaid, who used to admire his family's history, decides he doesn't agree with these unfair beliefs. He grows up a lot during his trip.
