Goofs:
Errors in Geography
Toward the end of the movie, when all but one of the hostages (the driver) are released (and Vaughn escapes), the liveries/uniforms on the ambulances, EMTs, and other emergency workers state "MOBILE FIRE RESCUE". Mobile as in, Mobile, Alabama. This is incorrect as the destination of the bus was Galveston, Texas and at this point, the bus was now in Texas. Therefore, all of the emergency crews should be from a local Texas town/county/city.

Errors in Geography
A mountain is visible while the bus is driving along I-10 somewhere in Louisiana. There are no mountains located on this stretch of interstate.

Factual Mistake
Toward the end of the movie, "Dog" calls the cell phone carrier to find out if there had been any calls made to Texas. The person on the other end of the line says yes and proceeds to give him the number which has the prefix 405. 405 is an Oklahoma prefix and the line he calls is a land line, not a cell phone so this is not possible.

Factual Mistake
In the final scene in the bus, so much petrol was pour onto Vaughn's body the, the bus would have been filled with petrol fumes, and yet when matches was struck twice and the subsequent firing of a pistol, nothing ignited. It was clear it was water as Vaughn's eye were wide opened when he has petrol running down his face.

Miscellaneous
The pregnant woman on the bus was planted there by Vaughn, how would Vaughn know in advance that the get away driver was going to flee. Secondly most buses do not run on time, and Vaughn and the rest of the gang had a gun fight before they got out, even if Vaughn can predict his get away driver was going to flee, it is impossible to time the arrival of the bus because of the unpredictability of the gun flight.
