Bulbul, a free-spirited bold teenager from a village in India’s Assam has two best friends Bonny and Somu who are struggling to find their identities in a community that expects them to fall in line with their codes. The teenagers find themselves at odds with the social mores and moral codes of their village. Bulbul begins to embark on a journey of self-discovery when she experiences attraction for a man and during all this chaos she must learn to find her own voice and sing.
