Vick and the bears find themselves starving and stuck in the ancient past surrounded by gigantic animals. On their journey, they get separated from each other as Briar meets a young wolf named Feifei, who is intent on becoming a brave warrior. Meanwhile, Vicky and Bramble face their own problems when they are captured by a tribe of primitives whose leader falls in love with Vick.
