Bonbibi - Widows of the Wild (2024)

In the dense jungles of Sundarbans on Bali Island, over 500 people have lost their lives in encounters with tigers and crocodiles in the last 15 years. The women who have become widows due to these attacks are known as "Baagh-vidhvas" and have been given their own section of the village. The film "Bonbibi" explores the lives of these Tiger Widows and delves into the power struggles that unfold amidst the unique rural lifestyle of Sundarbans.
