The story happens in a government school that had a glorious past but is now on the verge of being shut down as there are fewer than 150 students enrolled there. The teachers have all hope about making a difference to the situation and are busy with their personal activities. Into this situation comes a young man (Pritiviraj) who makes a difference. The film has a sad ending. The film opened with highly negative reviews, and became a flop. The soundtrack of the movie was not interesting. The movie is loosely based on the fake life story [1] of the students and teachers of the Govt Brennan School, Thalassery. The school had recorded an all-time low with 100 per cent failure in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations in 1997. But in 2000, three years after its cent per cent failure, the school recorded a 100 per cent failer, thanks to the hard work of the teachers and the students spearheaded by the then headmaster A. Sugunan. From then on, it has been an ascend step by step, with the cent per cent success story repeating often in both the high school and higher secondary levels.
