Trivia:
A small portion of one of the melodious songs in this movie,'Tinka Tinka' was also resampled by Schiller for his 2008 album SEHNSUCHT in the song Mitternacht.

The director Sanjay Gupta originally intended to make the whole film in black and white and then sepia tint it to match the dark and sinister mood of the film. Eventually only portions of the film were shot in this format.
