Embedded with traditional Indian dance and charged emotion, this family-oriented drama delves into the twists and turns in the life of Anand Unnikrishnan, a young man who has completed school with very low grades. His mother is a single parent and a Bharathanatyam teacher, who is very loving and protective of him. Anand, just like his mother, is a talented dancer and artist.
Although his mother would like him to forget about education and concentrate on his artistic talents, she consents to his wishes and those of Mutthacchan, her father to enroll him in a prestigious college. As it turns out, Unnikrishnan's father is Prem Shankar, a brilliant IAS officer with immense power and influence.
With Father Dennis' recommendation and his own artistic talents, Anand is accepted into a prestigious university, despite his low scores. In spite of being severely ragged and tortured by fellow students, Anand not only endures a very tough phase, but also makes good friends. He excels in dance, music and art competitions.
In one competition, his father, Prem Shankar is the chief guest, and is so touched by the performance that he wishes to renew ties with his son. Despite all his wealth and accomplishment, Prem Shankar feels a void in his life, and would like to reunite with his family. Could this be a realistic possibility? Why did Anand's parents separate in the first place? How will Anand's future unfold?
