Shivani Chopra lives with her ill sister and brother-in-law. She is employed as an air-hostess, and when one of the passengers is accidentally wounded, she dutifully nurses him. Unfortunately for her, the injured passenger happens to be a very wealthy and spoilt business tycoon, Vijay Agnihotri, who mistakenly assumes her care to be love, and begins to obsessively love her. When Vijay tells his doting mother, Padma Agnihotri of his love, she readily agrees to his desire to marry Shivani. However, when he and his mother go to Shivani's house with the marriage proposal, they are shocked to find Shivani getting married to an airline pilot, Ashok Chopra. Unable to bear this shock, Vijay attempts suicide but in a cruel twist of fate, survives. He tries his best to forget Shivani but is unable to do so and continues to woo her, even though she is happily married and has a daughter. Gradually Vijay's obsession for Shivani turns into a deadly and psychotic insanity, which drives him to murder Shivani's husband, Ashok Chopra, in cold blood, falsely accuse her, have her convicted and sent to jail. While she is serving her sentence, Vijay tortures her family members, killing them one by one. How will this psychopathic monster be stopped? What will happen to the innocent Shivani?
