That day was the immersion day of Goddess Durga. Chowdhury's son Bijoy and Aswini Roy's daughter Bimala started quarreling about a small bird. Bimala went home. Her father heard that Bhabani Chowdhury's son Bijoy had beaten his daughter. Apart from that Kartick brought a news that the idol size of Chowhdury's is one feet bigger than that of Roy's idol. So immediately in the middle of the road a gate was made on Aswini Roy's order. As Chowdhury's idol could not pass the gate, the rent-collector Banamali gave order to demolish the gate. While doing that it was found that Aswini Roy was standing there with a rifle in his hand. In the meantime as Kishore Singh, the darban (guard) of Roy grubbed Bijoy, Chowdhry fired from his gun. Kishan Singh died. Court case started. Everybody thought Chowdhury would be ruined that time. But Chowdhury was released as he was found not guilty. It had been proved that he had fired from his gun just to save his son. But he himself thought he was guilty as he had killed a man. He was so obsessed with that thought he became ill and died. After fifteen Years Bijoy became a doctor and started practicing in the village. Roy's coal mine was also doing well. One day a santhal miner came and requested Bijoy to treat his son. Aswini called police to arrest Bijoy on the charge that why Bijoy had come to treat whereas the coal-mine had its own doctor. Bimala didn't like her father's attitude at all. She went to his grandfather. Pratap Roy was in search of such an opportune moment. Without any delay he arranged a marriage between Bimala and Bijoy. And the feud between Roy and Chowdhury ended in a happy note.
