This evocative family drama follows the struggles in the life of Kamal, an innocent and naive young man. When he was just five years of age, his parents passed away making him the only heir to their vast estate. As per law, he can only inherit the estate at the age of 20, until which time it is placed under the care of his uncle, a wily and greedy man.
Even into adulthood, Kamal is kept drugged and intimidated to the extent that he shudders at his uncle's mere shadow. Serendipitously, he gets married to Madhavi, who as it turns out, only married him to rob him of cash and jewellery. Kamal's uncle orders Madhavi to leave, but when she pleads with Kamal for forgiveness, he does so. In a fit of anger, his uncle knifes Kamal to death and has it written off as suicide.
Madhavi swears to avenge Kamal's death through the child in her womb, and returns with her son, an exact replica of his father, to keep her promise. However, Kamal's uncle is not an easy man to defeat; can Madhavi's son successfully avenge his father's death before history repeats itself?
