Trivia:
This was Bachchan's third film since his comeback after a five year hiatus, but despite the anticipation it failed to rise up to expectations at the box office.

This movie was the last film in which Nirupa Roy appeared; she played the role of Bachchan's foster mother.

Sunil Shetty was part of the project and had done some shooting for the film before he dropped out.

The song Pathiye Ley was recorded and added much later after the post production of the movie.

The film released about a year later then its actually intended release date, due to financial issues K.C. Bokadia faced.

Half of the songs, which were recorded on the album, were not featured in the movie.

Manisha Koirala only committed to this project because she got an opportunity to work with the superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
