Raised in the lap of luxury, he leads a carefree, lazy existence, indulging in all the pleasures of the senses, much to his father's displeasure. Intent on getting his son involved in some serious activities, Valiya Thampuran (Adoor Bhasi) decides to introduce his son to the world of politics. With this sole purpose in mind, he uses his immense influence and wealth to bribe the Chief Minister to allow his son to take over the reins of power.
