Brimming with charged emotions, this family drama follows the fluctuating fortunes of two step-brothers, Jamadagni and Chandram. Jagannadharao is a wealthy man leading a luxurious life with his wife and infant son. His greedy friends gradually get him addicted to alcohol. While he is intoxicated, they try to get rid of the wife and son by publicly accusing her of having had an illicit affair. His wife is forced to leave home and commit suicide after naming her son, Jamadagni. After spending his childhood as an orphan, he grows up into a wealthy and powerful man. However, he is haunted by his past and seethes with hatred for his father. After the death of his first wife, Jagannadharao gets married once more and has another son, Chandram. As adults, Chandram and Jamadagni look remarkably alike. How will the two young men come together? Will Jamadagni succeed in avenging the death of his mother by punishing his father and his treacherous friends?
