Vijay comes back with a bang after an year of releasing Mersal. Sarkar is a political drama comprised of current status of Tamil Nadu with good screenplay and excellent cinematography. AR Rahman songs and Bgm's are extra add-ons on why you have to definitely watch this movie in big screen. Vijay's acting is intriguing in almost all the areas of the film except for few scenes where his way of expressing things is not his usual best. Keerthi Suresh and Yogi Babu's roles are more like a cameo with adding little spices here and there. AR Murugadoss has integrated the hard work of all the people who has worked behind the screen and has produced an entertaining film. Definitely a more than one time watchable film that gels with current political drama happening off screen and shows you directions on what can be done on future.
