Run (2002)

Embedded with fierce action and intense emotion, this youthful romantic drama depicts the fluctuating fortunes in the life of Shiva, an intelligent and fearless young man, who comes to Chennai from a small town to continue his studies. He meets Priya, an enigmatic stranger and falls in love with her.

Initially, Priya seems uninterested, and even tries to use force to warn him away. Finally, Siva finds out that Priya's ultimate intentions were good. She happens to be the sister of one of the city's most violent criminals, a man who is obsessively possessive of her. Young and bold, Siva refuses to give up on his love out of fear.

It's after the infringe of cunning setups and many oppositions that he realizes to make true progressions to his love; he relentlessly works both physically and mentally, to portray his love as inevitable, as he tricks Priya's brother. Her brother, however, still believes that he can separate their love by setting his men against Siva, but Siva beats them up. And soon Priya too starts loving him. Finally Siva and Priya elope, but will the young couple be able to withstand her brother's violent opposition?
