Balan, Sunny and Sharif are good friends. While Balan and Sunny remain in India, Sharif has succeeded in finding work in Dubai, and makes a prosperous living.
Sunny and Sharif are happily married, but Balan, who is in love with Nalini wants to wait till his job in Dubai is confirmed in order to get married. However, with Sharif's reassurance that the Visa would come soon, Balan and Nalini get married.
In a fateful twist, there is some problem with Sharif's passport and Visa, and he's forced to leave India immediately. Sharif writes to Balan stating that his business partner in Dubai had committed fraud and because he himself was in deep trouble, could not get a visa for Balan. Despite hearing about the dangers of travelling to the Gulf under unsure terms, Balan and his friend risk everything and go to Dubai, only to be cheated.
