Venal Kinavukal (1991)

This family-oriented drama delves into the life of Gopalakrishnan Nair and his family, highlighting his relationship with his son, Bhasi a careless and immature young man, who keeps secretly pestering his mother for cash, and has a crush on his neighbour. He and three of his friends are students who are enrolled in a computer science course. All of them are from conservative, traditional and middle-class families. However, a fourth friend, comes and incites them to 'live it up'.As they are all in an impressionable age, all of them join him and soon start indulging in the sensory pleasures – wine, women and wealth. How will these coming-of-eight experiences pan out for the young men? Will their families be able to bring them back on track and set them on the right course?
