Embedded with quirky comedy and charged emotions, this family drama depicts the lives of the members of a joint Brahmin family. Ramanathan is a retired man with diabetes. His daughter's name is Kamu and she is married to Balu, a loving man who helps out a lot around the house. Ramanathan's best friend is Naidu, whose work is to turn the key in clocks to ensure that they run on time.
Naidu's son Somu is in love with his colleague and wishes to marry her. Ramanathan's son Narayanan doesn't want to get married at all, but his family begin to search for a suitable bride for him. They decide on Sundari, a respectful and beautiful young woman. Will the family succeed in maintaining unity and harmony against all odds?
