Realistic and revealing, this multi-layered social drama revolves around Rudraswamy, an undertaker who lives in a small village. Devudu (Tanikella Bharani) is an educated elder who is regarded as a leader of the village. When the Government approaches him to convince the villagers to sell their land and properties as it is coming up with SEZ, Devudu convinces everybody to sell. Is Devudu right in brain-washing the innocent villagers to give up their ancestral land for quick cash? How will Rudraswamy counter Devudu when he realises that short-term gains do not add up to sustainable progress for the community?
