The title of the movie has been chosen from a song from another Tamil movie 'Aayutha Ezhuthu', which also featured Meera Jasmine.

This is popular director Lingusamy's fourth film after 'Anandam', 'Run' and 'Ji.

This is lead actor Vishal's second release after 'Chellamey', and its phenomenal success is largely credited as a breakthrough for his career.

Playing the villain in the film is popular Malayalam actor and producer Lal, who'd played a dual role in the Vijaykanth-starrer 'Engal Anna'.

An intense and important fight scene involving the lead actor Vishal, and the villain, Lal was picturised in Dindigul for seven days.

The songs have been shot at locations in Australia, New Zealand and Chennai, while a song in introduction of Rajkiran was shot at Theni.

The successful duo of lead actress Meera Jasmine, and director Lingusamy, has teamed up for the second time with this movie, after the blockbuster hit of 'Run'.
