Perhaps due to his shocked silence, they mistake him to be a deaf-mute, rescue him and allow him to reside at the 'Punjabi House'. Delighted to be able to make a fresh beginning and unburdened from the debts of his past, Unni turns a new leaf in life, and even befriends a young, mute woman Pooja. Will the happiness in this new milieu hold good? Or will his past and his inadvertent deception come back to haunt him?
