Nishi Mrigaya (1975)

This fast-paced suspense thriller delves into the life of Mr Gonzales, a high-powered jeweller, involved in the smuggling of precious stones and metals. He attends a deeply secretive meeting of leading jewellers involved in criminal activities in the city, a sudden police raid causes complete panic for everyone, killing several of his men and causing a great deal of damage to his criminal network. An enigmatic young woman known only as Number Three is employed by Mr Gonzales. While carrying a suitcase full of cash, she comes into contact with Manoj Roy, a law enforcement officer. Charming and savvy, she gains is trust by pretending to be his wife, Mrs Hina Roy in front of others. Is her show of love for Manoj all part of the act, or will she truly fall in love with him? How will her confrontation with Mr Gonzales pan out?
