It was a day in 'News Media Office' where all the editors were criticized for the poor results by their Chief Editor - Kundan. The criticized victim, frustrated by his own performance approaches his mentor. He requests him to provide a mysterious story from the past. The mentor avoids it, but later gives in to Kundan's persuasion and starts to narrate the story. The story unfolds with Arjun Shandilya, a PhD scholar who is researching under his senior faculty Shalini Bhargava on the long term effects of post-hypnotic suggestion on personality and behavior. Shalini is a veteran professor in his Clinical Psychology, while Arjun finds it extremely hard to cope with students as he is is uncomfortable in crowds. Troubled by students and corrupt administration, he puts down the job as lecturer and continues his research picking up 'Self Hypnotism' as a subject of specialization.
