Integral parts of the film have been shot in Nehru Place, a location that has many fond memories of the gastronomic kind, for Manish. He used to stand in a line at his favorite eatery to eat rajma-chawal.
Manish’s nick name in real life, ironically, is Mickey.
Manish was born and brought up in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. When he heard the script of the film, which was about a computer hacker living in Malviya Nagar, he knew he wanted to do this.
The director designed the T-shirts and shoes of the main lead, himself.
After the director met Manish Paul, he made many changes to the original script of the film, as he found several similarities between the actor and the script.
The movie title was debated to be 'Seven Hours to Live'.
Saurabh Varma worked on the film for over two years.
