Trivia:
Krampus was featured in a "scare zone" for Universal Studios Hollywood's Halloween Horror Nights 2014.

Paul Ferm, who played Santa Claus, is actually a former Miami area homicide detective. He actually made the child, Sean, played by Benny Weaver, cry during the "cage scene." Benny wouldn't return to the "cave" while Paul was present. Director Jason Hull had to cut a page from the script because Benny was so afraid of Paul.

Jeremy Duffin's house in the movie is actually that of actor A.J. Leslie. His wife, Jason Hull learned of Krampus during the filming of his second film, The Four. After they completed post-production on it, he immediately began writing the Krampus screenplay.

All of the children on the maps were pictures given to the director by his friends. The 8 1/2 x 11's that are posted on either side of the map are actual missing children. The director and producers hoped it would be beneficial in helping to find the actual missing children.

Krampus's "cave" is actually the basement to a local tavern in Edinboro, Pa, Fat Willies. The owners were gracious enough to allow the team to film there, even while it was busy.

The picture that is put up in the "missing kids room" is the director's nephew. Behind it can be found his other nephew.mostly mostly
