Keshavan and Sreedharan are brothers. Keshavan receives a large chunk of money from Kumaran Nair, who helps him out after mortgaging his own property, and travels to Singapore in order to gain wealth. He sends all his earnings back to Sreedharan, who remains in their hometown buying up property and pretending to ensure that they would all live together happily.
However, when Keshavan returns, he finds that it is all a lie. Kumaran Nair has died of a broken heart and his family are almost on the verge of being on the streets. None of his money was returned to him by Sreedharan, who has converted all the property and wealth into his own name and brings his brother onto the streets. Sreedharan has his brother and family murdered and claims that they were killed by a mad elephant, Kolakkomban.
In time, a mysterious and fearless man arrives to try and claim the prize for killing Kolakkomban. He falls in love with Manju, a local tribal girl whose father is a medicine man. A police investigation is begun, with an undercover police officer coming over to expose Sreedharan's atrocities and crimes. Will Sreedharan's secrets and heinous crimes be exposed? Will he be punished for his evil deeds?
