Kacheri Arambam (2010)

Narrated partially in flashback, this fierce action drama daringly depicts the twists and turns in the life of Paari (Jiiva). The tale sparks off with Paari reminiscing over his past, while on a train journey... Cut to the beginning, it is shown that Paari is a do-gooder belonging to remote village in Ramanathapuram, A magnanimous man, he gives anything and everything to others if they were to ask it of him. Promising his dad (Azhagam Perumal) to earn more, Paari sets out to Chennai. However, in the big city, he faces many obstacles and challenges along the path success. He also happens to meet a young girl Madhi (Poonam Bajwa) and falls in love with her. Some goons also cause trouble for Paari. Meanwhile, complications emerge when Sivamani (J D Chakravarthy), the dreaded but sophisticated don of the city is getting ready to marry Madhi. When the two stories meet, chaos ensues with Paari being hunted by the goons of the Mafia kingpin. Can Paari succeed in defeating the mighty don and ensure his lover's safety?
