Touching and insightful, this family-oriented drama delves into a long-term enmity between two great families – the Puthezhath family headed by Puthezhathu Shankaran Nair and the Kizhakkedath family headed by Kizhakkedathu Krishnawarrier – whose ancestral (Tharavadus) lie right next to each other.The story is set in a picturesque landscape in a village called "Krishnapuram". Karyasthan Krishnanunni (Dileep) who arrives with the intent of bringing about a truce between the two. In the process, he falls in love with Sreebala (Akhila) and wins the hearts of both the Karanavars as well. However, complications emerge when Krishna Warrier (Madhu)'s son Rajan's (Siddique) marriage is fixed with Saraswathy (Lena), daughter of the Karanavar of Puthezhath. As Rajan is in love with another Young women, he takes the bold move of eloping with her, much against the wishes of both families. While a new feud threatens, it is up to Krishnanunni to come to the rescue. How will he succeed in maintaining the newly established truce between the two families? What is the personal sacrifice he must make in the process?
