Arshita Sahu is an Indian film actress and model. She is famous for her career as an actor in Ollywood. She is an accomplished actress, who has played female lead in many successful Odia movies. She came as the first runner-up in 2013 "Femina Miss India Kolkata" beauty contest. Initially she made her acting debut in the commercials and endorsed many popular brands. Archita got an offer from director Sanjay Nayak when she was just doing 10th standard and she made her screen debut in the movie "O My Love" in 2005, which fetched her "Best Newcomer Award" for the film. After which she acted in many successful oriya movies. She was crowned as Miss Kalinga in 2004. Presently, she is the State ambassador of UNICEF for ‘Eradicating Child Labour’ in Odisha. She was also a brand ambassador for the IPL 5, for the team Deccan Chargers. She is a three times State Awardee from the Government of Odisha for her outstanding performances.
